Layoffs with no AI/automation connection, projected or rumored cuts without confirmation, natural attrition or hiring freezes, duplicate counting across multiple reports.
Not all companies disclose AI as a factor. Attribution is editorial judgment, not algorithmic. The real number is almost certainly higher. Entries may be revised as new information emerges.
